The use of handhelds is supported in various areas of the process flow in ABS. For example, Field inspections for a production field can be entered in a PDA. The complete seed processing flow can be handled with a handheld, from the collection of the seed in the warehouse, the delivery of the seed at the processing location and the completion of the assignment.
Processing
Collecting the stock, based on a transport assignment, and the delivery of the stock to the processing location are the first steps of the seed processing assignment. For all steps, a scale connection can be used, so weight differences can be booked instantly.
When the seed is delivered at the process location, the assignment can be started. The start of the assignment, the completion, the sample taking and visual inspections, all are registered in the handheld.
